About BHPF 2025

The 8th Biomedical HIV Prevention Forum (BHPF) will be held in Accra, Ghana on 2nd December 2025 as an official pre-conference of ICASA themed "Advancing Biomedical HIV Prevention as a National Priority Through Choice." The forum will be held as a hybrid event, allowing participants to join both in-person and virtually. It will bring together advocates, civil society representatives, researchers, youth leaders, development partners, and government officials from the Ministries of Health and Finance.

The BHPF provides a platform for policy dialogue, research dissemination, and advocacy on biomedical HIV prevention across Africa. The 2025 edition aims to accelerate action toward equitable access to diverse HIV prevention options, strengthen community leadership, and consolidate an African-led advocacy and research campaign toward ending AIDS by 2030.
